Data Execution Prevention (DEP) is a feature that helps to protect our system from viruses intrusion and virtually other related threats. Normally the programs running on the system is constantly monitored by Windows and when malicious activity is detected, it will be automatically closed. There are times however when this warning is a false positive rather than the real threat and we insist on running certain programs regardless of the warnings.
