Solution: Images and links don’t appear on feedburner

Update (7/1/2012): With the growing number of subscribers on this blog, I'm more concerned on how data is fetched to them. When I take a look at the new feed, I found the look of feed doesn't appeal me because what subscribers see are only the snippet of what I wrote, not the whole content.

Snippet or summary of feed is not actually bad at all, it's actually a matter of preference to blog owner on how the data should presented. For me, I prefer to let my subscribers see the whole content just right from their reader aggregators. Having snippet will allow more uniformity and it works perfectly for a very long post. However because my posts in average is not that long, I prefer to switch the content to a full feed so my readers don't need to click and go into my post unless they are very interested in taking part in the communication.

When I first wrote this post, I don't know how feedburner works. With the acquisition of Feedburner by Google, the interface has undergone major changes to a intuitive one. You can visit feedburner site through this link.

This is the problem that has been bugging me eversince the debut of this blog. Every post that appears on feedburner is completely a plain text. You can see the picture below, it doesn't look appealing at all as every HTML tag is stripped off.

How to change feed content from snippet/summary to full feed?

1. Under Options > Reading on the sub menu bar, choose Full Text.

2. Turn off the summary burner on the feedburner option.

3. Make sure to set your source feed (in Feedburner) to http://www.yourdomain.com/?feed=rss2 instead of http://www.yourdomain.com/?feed=rss.

See how wonderful the feed is with all html tags and pictures in place. :)
