After brief installation, most components can be used right out of the box, no setup required. The best example is the firewall system; the default settings work perfectly with most people. That being said, you can still fine tune the controls by tweaking the settings in Firewall section.

Prior to using Norton 360 Version 6.0 Beta, you are required to sign up with Norton in order to get the license key. License key will be sent to you via email and you should receive it shortly after you completed the registration. The registration key is valid for 14 days and you would be able to renew it for another 14 days after it expires for the first time.
